EAA103 is the Treasure Valley chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA). The Chapter is a non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to the promotion and enjoyment of sport/recreational aviation. We pursue this goal through a variety of educational activities and programs for amateur aircraft builders and other aviation enthusiasts.
The Chapter makes its home at Ritchey Field, Nampa Municipal Airport (S67) . We hold our monthly meetings on the first Thursday of the month, 7:30 PM, at the Shep-Rock Aviation Center. There are usually snacks and beverages served prior to the meeting. These meetings feature: presentations on many aspects of aviation, resource sharing by pilots and builders, and are a friendly get-together for members and visitors. Latest Changes
Several members participated in a fun flyout/campout to Garden Valley in July. Garden Valley member, Jack Ogden, had most of the group (except us puppy sitters) over to his place to view the Zenith 801 he is building. The show was complete with snacks and drinks. Thank you Jack!. A few of us took a dip in the river. It was very cold! The drawing for the Gossamer Condor DVD is still pending. Did anyone take photos? If you send them to me, I will post them here...
A splendid show at the June meeting - "The Flight of the Gossamer Condor" - by filmmaker, Ben Shedd. Our meetings don't get any better than this. The documentary film tells the story of the first successful human powered airplane, the project and people who made it happen. Thanks, Ben!

New EAA Chapter 103 Hangar Use Policy -- There is a new hangar use policy in effect. If you plan to use the chapter's hangar for an annual, final aircraft completion work, or storage of anything, then be sure to review this new policy. You must sign an agreement to use the hangar, and you must get a chapter officer's (president, vice-president, treasurer or secretary) signature on the request. Use for repairs, annuals and final prep for an airworthiness inspection are encouraged. Storage of aircraft or other objects is discouraged. If you don't sign the agreement, and put something in the hangar then you should expect to find your stuff tied down out front of the hangar. Chapter dues are $20 per calendar year, regardless of when they are paid.
