Curtis skinned his wings in aluminum, extended the fuselage by 18 inches and turned the Bede-4 into a tail dragger.
His is really an "Experimental Aircraft". Not like most of us who simply build a plane from a kit, Curtis is going to actually do some experimenting.
This Bede-4 should get a criuse speed of about 190 MPH.
